Starting Chain and Yoke Foundation

- Measure neckline and chain to fit
- Example uses 100 chains
- Divide stitches for four sections: front, back, and two shoulders
- Join chain to form loop
- Place four markers following chosen stitch counts
Yoke Round 1

- Ch 1
- SC to first marker
- In marker stitch work SC ch 1 SC and move marker to ch 1
- Repeat around
- Sl st to first SC
Working the V Stitch Yoke
Yoke Round 2
- Ch 2
- Skip 1 stitch and work V stitch in next
- Repeat V stitch skip 1 to corner
- At corner work three V stitches across the corner area
- Sl st to complete and move to center of V stitch
Yoke Round 3
- Work V stitch in each V stitch to corner
- At corner place DC before marked V stitch
- Work V stitch in marked V stitch and move marker
- Place DC after marked V stitch
- Repeat around
Continue the Yoke
- Alternate Increase Type 1 and Increase Type 2 rounds

Separating the Sleeves and Body
Armhole Chain

The Body
