Materials4.5 mm crochet hook

  • Yarn of choice (example fits 8 inch hand circumference)

The Ribbed Cuff (Wrist)

  • Start with a slip knot
  • Chain 13
  • Row 1: Skip first chain, work 1 SC in next 12 chains (12 SC)
  • Row 2+: Chain 1, turn, work SC in BLO across 12 stitches
  • Repeat until cuff fits wrist, example uses 12 rows

Joining the Cuff

  • Bring short ends together
  • Work SC through both ends to join all 12 stitches and form a tube

  • Round 12: Increase every 6th stitch to 35 SC, SS to join
  • Rounds 13–18: SC in each stitch (35 SC), SS to join

  • Attach yarn at thumb hole, work 12 SC around, SS to join
  • Work 9 rounds of 12 SC each
  • Decrease to close thumb tip, fasten off
