- Continue working one DC into every chain stitch until the end of the row.
Starting New Row: Chain three (this counts as your first DC).

- Turn your work.
- Repeat Row: Skip the first stitch (the one at the base of your Chain 3).
- Work one DC into every single stitch across the row.
- End of Row: When you reach the end, make sure to work your last DC into the top of the Chain 3 from the previous row.
- Length: Repeat the steps for "Starting New Row" and "Repeat Row" until your scarf reaches the desired length.
The Crochet Heart Applique
- Materials: Use a 5mm hook and medium-weight yarn (the video uses a light pink color).
- Start: Begin with a Magic Ring.
- Round 1: Chain two.

Work the following set of stitches into the Magic Ring:
- 3 Treble Crochets (TR)
- 3 Double Crochets (DC)
- Chain one
- 1 Treble Crochet (TR)
- Chain one
- 3 Double Crochets (DC)
- 3 Treble Crochets (TR)
- Chain two

Close: Slip stitch into the inside of the Magic Ring.
Finish: Slowly pull the tail to tighten the Magic Ring and close the heart.
- Fasten off, making sure to leave a long tail for sewing the heart onto the scarf.
Attaching the Hearts

- Pin the finished heart(s) onto the scarf in the desired locations.
- Use your needle and the long yarn tail to sew the heart onto the scarf.
- The video suggests picking up loops from the front of the heart and the scarf to ensure the pink yarn does not show through the back of the scarf, keeping the back seamless.
