Bag Body
- Make a slip knot and chain to a length about 2 inches shorter than the desired final width.
- Work half double crochet across beginning in the second stitch from the hook.
- Mark the first stitch.
- At the final stitch, work three stitches into the same stitch to round the corner.
- Continue stitching down the other side of the starting chain.
- At the final stitch, work two stitches into the same stitch.
Base Increases
- Continue working in continuous rounds without joining or turning.
- Increase at each rounded corner as needed to widen the base by working two stitches into the corner stitch, one stitch in the next stitch, and two stitches in the following corner stitch.
- Repeat this increase on both ends.
Body Height
- Work half double crochet continuously around.
