Whether you want to gift it or keep it for yourself, this scarf is highly customizable—just adjust the number of rows to get the ideal length for you. The pattern is simple to follow and works up quickly, so you can complete it in no time.

Materials

  • 4 mm crochet hook
  • Darning needle
  • Scissors
  • Almost 30 grams of yarn

Make a slip knot and chain:

  • Make a slip knot and chain 30 stitches. You can adjust the number of stitches based on your desired length.

First row (Half Double Crochet):

  • Chain one, skip the first chain, and work a half double crochet stitch in each of the remaining 30 chains until the end of the row.

Second row (Half Double Crochet Back Loop Only):

Rows 3 to 40:

Join the seams:

  • Using the long tail and a darning needle, sew the side seams together by taking one stitch from each side and joining them.
