Crocheting the Main Body Panel
- Create a foundation chain in an even number that matches your desired sweater width.
- Add 3 chains and make one Double Crochet in the 4th chain from the hook.
- Work the mesh pattern by chaining 1, skipping 1 chain, and making 1 Double Crochet in the next chain across the row.
- Turn and create the special turning stitch by inserting the hook, pulling up a loop, and slip stitching through the front loop only.
