Crochet Bobble Square

Materials Needed:
- DK (lightweight) yarn (#3 category)
- 4 mm crochet hook (Adjust hook size if you're using a different yarn weight)
Pattern Overview:
- Pattern is worked up in multiples of 8 + 1 for the foundation chain.
- Only Double Crochet (DC) and a Bubble Stitch are used.
- Great for baby blankets and adaptable for larger projects.
Foundation Chain:

Chain 130 for a baby blanket (or any multiple of 8 + 1 for other projects).
Row 1 (Setup Row):
- DC in the fourth chain from the hook (the skipped chains count as a DC).
- Continue with DC in the next chain for a total of 7 DC (including the chains at the beginning).
- Chain 1, skip 1 chain, then start the next block with a DC in the following chain.
- Repeat this pattern until the end of the row, ending with a block of 7 DC.

Bubble Row:
- Chain 1 and turn your work.
- DC in the first 3 stitches.

Bubble Stitch:
- In the fourth stitch, partially complete 5 DC by pulling through only the first two loops on each stitch. You'll have 6 loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all 6 loops.
- DC in the next 3 stitches, then chain 1, skip the space, and start the next block with a DC.
- Continue the same pattern across.

Next Rows:
- Repeat the sequence of creating a row with blocks of 7 DC, separated by a chain 1 space, then a bubble row, and so on.
- For cleaner edges and uniformity, work into the chain spaces rather than over them.
- Adjust the pattern for varied sizes but maintain the blocks of 7 DC with bubbles centered.
