Materials

  • 100% Milk Cotton Yarn in green and white
  • 3 mm crochet hook

Yoke (Green Yarn)

  • Make a slip knot and chain 60 (adjust to chest size)
  • Chain 3 more, DC in 5th chain, DC across

  • Chain 3, turn, work 4 DC, then 2 DC in next stitch, repeat across
  • Continue with rows of DC, keeping 5 DC at the start for the button plate

  • Mark stitches for front, back, and armholes
  • Work mesh pattern across, chain stitches to form armholes, join with slip stitch

Skirt (White Yarn)

  • Round 1: Join yarn, chain 3, DC in each stitch
  • Round 2: Increase by working 2 DC in one stitch, then 1 DC in next, repeat
  • Round A: Chain 3, work 4 DC, chain 3, skip 2, SC, chain 3, skip 2, 4 DC, repeat
  • Round B: Slip stitch to chain space, chain 5, SC in next chain space, repeat
  • Alternate Round A and Round B for desired skirt length

Border and Edging (Green and White)

  • Join green yarn

  • Round 3: DC in each stitch, 2 DC in chain spaces
  • Rounds 4–5: DC in every stitch
  • For sleeves, collar, and placket: join white yarn, skip 2, shell with 4 DC, chain 2, 4 DC, skip 2, SC, repeat
