Border Options
- Option 1: Plain straight edge or shell version

Option 1: All Double Crochet Border
- Step 1: Begin with a chain three and turn.
- Step 2: Place two double crochets in the same beginning stitch.
- Step 3: Work two double crochets in every chain space and three double crochets in the center double crochet.
- Step 4: Repeat this pattern across to the other side.
- Step 5: Work two double crochets in the last space and three double crochets in the top of your chain three.

Fringe Placement for Double Crochet Border
- Option 1: Place fringe in every other stitch, skipping one stitch between each fringe.
- Option 2: Place fringe in every fourth double crochet.
- At the center point, place fringe in the double crochet to the right and left of the center, and in the center mark stitch.

Option 2: Extended Shell Border
- Step 1: Begin with a chain three.
- Step 2: Work five double crochets in the beginning chain space, totaling six with the initial chain three.
