Middle Part of the Flower (Yellow)

  • Tie yarn to the hook with a slip knot.
  • Chain 4.
  • Insert hook into the first chain, yarn over, pull through the chain and attached loop.
  • Chain 3 to represent the first double crochet.
  • Make 11 double crochets inside the circle.
  • Insert hook into the third chain, yarn over, pull through the chain and attached loop.
  • Make 1 chain.
  • Fasten off and weave in hanging threads.

  • Change color.
  • Insert hook into the third chain, pull yarn through, and make a knot to secure.
  • Pull up a loop and pull it through the chain.

  • Make three triple crochets, summed one to another, in each stitch until you have 12 petals.

  • To make a corner, after working in four gaps, chain 3 and make three triple crochets in the fourth gap.
  • Repeat this corner pattern in every fourth gap to create four corners.
  • Chain 3, insert hook into the fourth chain, and make a slip stitch.
  • You will need to make a total of 12 squares.

  • Start with one of the completed squares.
  • Enlarge it by repeating the same pattern for two additional rounds.

  • Make one half double crochet in each and every stitch until you make 11 rows.
  • First, chain 1.
  • Yarn over, insert hook into the chain, pull up a loop, pull it through, yarn over, and pull through all remaining loops.
  • Repeat until the end.
  • The bottom part should measure 10 cm in height.

  • Start with five chains.
  • Make one half double crochet (back loops only) in each stitch until the strap measures approximately 20 cm.

Finishing

  • After sewing the squares together, make one single crochet in each stitch all around for six rounds.
