For Rounds 4 – 7 (4 rounds):

  • 18 single crochet in each stitch around [18 stitches each round]

Round 8:

  • 1 single crochet, 1 decrease – Repeat this sequence 6 times [12 stitches]

Round 9:

  • Perform a decrease in each stitch around (6 decreases total) [6 stitches]

Arms:

  • Start with 6 single crochet in a magic ring, followed by a slip stitch.
  • Chain 10.

Body:

  • Chain 15, skip the first chain from the hook.

Row 1:

  • 1 slip stitch, 5 single crochet, 4 half double crochet, 4 double crochet [14 stitches total], 2 chains to turn.

Row 2:
