The design features a soft turtleneck collar and full-length sleeves, making it both warm and elegant. Ideal for beginners and intermediate crocheters, it’s a project that allows easy customization—adjust the length, sleeve width, or neckline to suit your style. Whether you use acrylic or chunky yarn, this cardigan works beautifully as an everyday essential or a chic handmade gift.
Materials
- Yarn: T yarn, 100% acrylic (double the strands for thickness or use chunky yarn)
- Hook: 6 mm
- Measurement: Shoulder-to-shoulder (e.g., 50 cm)
Main Body Panels (Make 2 Identical Pieces)
- Starting Chain: Make a chain matching your shoulder-to-shoulder measurement.
- Row 1: Chain 1, skip the first loop, single crochet in each chain across.
- Rows 2–20: Chain 1, turn. Work single crochet in back loops only across each row for 20 total rows.
- Chain for Turtleneck: After Row 20, chain 21 for collar length.
- Row 21: Chain 1, single crochet down the 21 new chains, then continue single crochet in back loops across the main panel.
- Rows 22–43: Chain 1, turn. Continue back loop single crochet across the entire row until 22–24 rows are completed for the turtleneck.
- Stitch Marker: Place a marker where the turtleneck began.
- Continue Rows: Work 20 more rows of back loop single crochet after the marker to complete the second body panel side.

Sleeves (Make 2)

- Chain 61 for sleeve length.
- Row 1: Chain 1, skip the first loop, single crochet in each chain across.

- Attach to Body: Slip stitch into the next loop of the armhole opening.
- Slip stitch once more into the next loop, then turn your work.
- Row 2: Single crochet across the row, inserting hook through the front loop.
- Continue: Chain 1, turn, single crochet across, slip stitch to the next armhole loop, slip stitch once more, and turn.
- Repeat until the entire armhole is filled and the sleeve is complete.

- Seam the sleeve edges using slip stitch or a tapestry needle.
- Repeat for the second sleeve.
