Materials
- Medium four-weight yarn
- 5.5 mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle, scissors, optional beads
Base
- Make a slip knot and chain 6
- Slip stitch into first chain to form ring
- Row 1: Chain 3, place 11 double crochets into ring, join
- Row 2: Chain 3, 1 double crochet in same stitch, 2 double crochets in each stitch around, join
- Row 3: Chain 3, alternate 1 double crochet and 2 double crochets in next stitch around, join

Body (Mesh Stitch)
- Row 1: Chain 4, skip 1 stitch, double crochet in next stitch, repeat around, join
- Rows 2-15: Chain 4, double crochet on top of previous row’s double crochet, repeat chain 1 and double crochet pattern around, join each row
Top Shell Stitch
- Chain 3, place 5 double crochets in first window space

Handle
