Gauge
- Chain 10
- Work 9 half double crochets across
- Continue for 7 rows
- Swatch should measure approximately 4 inches square

For Front Piece Ribbing
- Chain 7
- Slip stitch into the second chain from the hook and across
- Chain 1, turn, slip stitch into back loops only

Front Piece Body
- Rotate ribbing and work half double crochets evenly along the long edge
