Materials
- Mohair style yarn held with 3 to 5 strands for a fuzzy texture
- 7 mm crochet hook
- 4.5 mm crochet hook for joining panels
Cable Panels Make 2
- Chain 21 stitches
- Single crochet across for Row 1
- Turn and single crochet across for Row 2
- On the next front row work 5 single crochet, 10 front post double crochet into the first row of single crochet, then 5 single crochet
- On every back row work single crochet across

- Over the following front rows split the cable by working 5 front post double crochet, then single crochet stitches in the center, then 5 front post double crochet
- For the cable twist work 5 single crochet, skip the first 5 post stitches, work 5 treble crochet into the second group of post stitches, then return and work 5 treble crochet into the skipped post stitches crossing over the previous stitches
- Return to the normal alignment after the twist
- Repeat the split and twist sequence until the panel measures 44 rows tall
- Work a row of single crochet evenly along both long vertical edges

Ribbed Panels
- Chain 45 stitches for the back panel
- Work yarn over slip stitch in the back loop only for 54 rows
- For the front ribbed sections make two panels that are 7 rows wide
- Make one center ribbed panel that is 9 rows wide

Assembly
- Arrange the front panels in this order ribbed panel, cable panel, center ribbed panel, cable panel, ribbed panel
- Slip stitch all front panels together
- Place the front and back panels together and slip stitch across each shoulder for approximately 20 stitches
- Slip stitch up each side from the bottom leaving space for the armholes

Sleeves and Finishing
- Attach yarn at the armpit and single crochet evenly around the armhole
- Chain 45 stitches and work ribbing rows in the back loop only, slip stitching into the body every other row as you go
- Single crochet evenly around the neckline opening
