Materials

  • Approximately 400g of Rinela cotton yarn in raw color
  • Approximately 400g of Rinela cotton yarn in black
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle
  • Measuring tape

Yarn Notes

  • Use 100% Rinela cotton yarn, rigid and ideal for firm granny squares
  • Work with a double strand for thicker, stiffer texture
  • Not suitable for skin-contact garments, perfect for jackets and bags

Granny Square Dimensions

  • Side-to-side: 7.5 cm
  • Point-to-point: 9 cm

Granny Square Quantities

  • 31 in raw color
  • 46 in black
  • 7 mixed (raw + black) for flower centers
  • 9 half granny squares for lower edge shaping

Half Granny Square Pattern

  • Use 3.5 mm hook with double strand

  • Make a magic ring
  • Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), 2 dc into ring
  • Ch 2

  • 1 dc in next 2 sts

For Row 3:
