Part 1 Crocheting the Diagonal Granny Square

- Start with a magic ring
- Chain 4 counts as DC plus chain 1
- Make 3 DC inside ring
- Chain 1 then 1 DC into ring and tighten ring

- Make 3 DC into first chain space
- Chain 1 skip 3 stitches

- Chain 3 turn FPDC on FPDC BPDC on BPDC for ribbing rows
- Continue nine rows for cuffs
- Optional switch color and add single crochet edging
Neckline Collar

- Attach yarn at neckline chain 3 make 2 DC in same space
- Chain 1 make 3 DC next space repeat around slip stitch join
- Chain 3 make 2 DC in same space then 3 DC in each chain space with no chains between
- Chain 3 turn continue 3 DC in each space
- Work 12 rows or adjust height using color changes if desired
