Crochet Ribbed Hat

Materials
- Medium-thickness yarn (less than 100g)
- 4 mm crochet hook
- 4.5 mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Hat Brim
- Make 11 chains.
- Skip the first chain and make 1 single crochet in the next 10 chains.
- Chain 1 and make 10 single crochet in the back loop only.
- Repeat until long enough to wrap around the head.
- Join both ends together with a slip stitch.

Hat Body
- Work 1 single crochet into each row around the brim.
- Chain 3 and work 1 double crochet in each stitch.
- Increase if needed so stitch count is a multiple of 3.

Rib Stitch Section
- Chain 2. Work 1 front post double crochet, then 2 back post double crochet.
- Repeat 1 FPDC and 2 BPDC around.

- Stop when total height is about 4 cm shorter than needed.

Crown Decrease
