Creating the Neck Opening

  • Join the two sides of the top together, leaving a gap for the neck.
  • The video demonstrates this for a medium size, which involves marking 33 double crochets on each side and leaving a 23 cm gap.
  • You then continue the pattern on each side of the opening, using a chain to bridge the gap.

Finishing

  • Join the two sides together with a yarn needle, leaving openings for the sleeves.
  • You can also add a finishing touch by making rounds of slip stitches or single crochets around the neck and sleeve openings.
