Crochet Top Blouse

Materials
- DK or worsted weight yarn (Ecoamigurumi or similar)
- 3.5 mm crochet hook (adjust if needed)

Main Panel Construction (Diagonal Square)
- Make two identical squares for front and back.
- Start with slip knot and chain 4.

- Row 1: Work (2 DC, Ch 2, 2 DC) into first chain.
- Row 2: Ch 2 or 3 and turn, DC across, in center Ch-2 space work (2 DC, Ch 2, 2 DC), DC across including turning chain.
- Continue repeating this row, always increasing in the center.
- Work until square measures desired width (e.g., 47 cm x 47 cm).
- Optional: Alternate DC rows with Crossed DC for texture.
- To change color, finish last DC with new yarn color.

Shaping the Neckline and Joining
- Fold one square to find center and mark neckline opening.
- Attach yarn at shoulder corner and work DC rows to marker, leaving center open.
- Repeat rows until neckline depth is reached (about 5 rows).
- Repeat on other shoulder and on second square.

- Place panels together and seam shoulders, leaving neckline open.
- Seam sides, leaving armholes open (e.g., 21 cm).
Finishing Borders

- Work one round of Single Crochet around hem, neckline, and armholes.
- Add 1–2 rounds of chosen border stitch such as Crossed DC.
- At neckline corners, decrease with 2–3 DC together to create smooth curves.
- Weave in all ends and block for neat finish.
