Materials:

  • 150-200 grams of bulky weight yarn (any color or combination of colors)
  • 7 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle
  • Stitch marker (optional)

Abbreviations:

  • Ch: Chain
  • Hdc: Half double crochet
  • Sc: Single crochet
  • Sl St: Slip stitch

Pattern:

For Round 1:

  • Make a magic ring.
  • Ch 1, then work 7 hdc stitches into the ring.
  • Pull the tail to close the ring and secure it by working over it in the next few stitches.

  • Ch 1, then work 2 hdc stitches in each stitch around.

For Round 3:

  • Ch 1, then work 1 hdc in each stitch around.

Round 4:

Ch 1, then work 1 hdc in the next stitch, 2 hdc in the next stitch, and repeat around.

  • Ch 1, then work 1 hdc in each stitch around until the sock is the desired length.

Round 26:

  • Ch 1, then work 1 sc in each stitch around.
  • Sl st in the first stitch to join the round.
  • Cut the yarn, leaving a tail, and yarn over and pull through to secure.
  • Weave in the ends.
