Crochet Slipper Socks

Materials
- Medium-weight yarn or scrap yarn
- Crochet hook (5 mm or size suitable for yarn)
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Toe Section
- Begin with a Magic Ring or chain 4 and join to form a loop.
- Work 8 half double crochets into the ring.
- Continue increasing evenly in each round until the circle fits the top of your toes.

Foot Section
- Once the toe is wide enough, stop increasing.
- Work evenly in half double crochet stitches around to form the foot section.
- Continue until the slipper measures the length of your foot minus the heel area.

Heel Section
- Work in rows over half the stitches to form a heel flap.
- Continue for several rows to create length.
- Decrease at each end to shape the heel curve.
- Join the sides of the heel with slip stitches or sew closed.

Cuff Section
- Reattach yarn at the ankle opening.
- Work evenly around the edge to create a cuff.
- Use half double crochet in the back loop only for a ribbed texture.
- Continue until the cuff reaches your desired height.

Finishing
- Fasten off and weave in all loose ends.
