  • Rounds 9–16: 1 sc in each stitch (48)

Round 17: Change color, (6 sc, 1 dec) repeat 6x (42)

  • Round 18: (5 sc, 1 dec) repeat 6x (36)
  • Round 19: (4 sc, 1 dec) repeat 6x (30)
  • Round 20: (3 sc, 1 dec) repeat 6x (24)
  • Round 21: (2 sc, 1 dec) repeat 6x (18)
  • Stuff the body
  • Round 22: (1 sc, 1 dec) repeat 6x (12)
  • Round 23: 6 decreases (6)

Finishing: Cut yarn, use needle to weave through front loops, pull to close, and hide the tail

Ears

  • Chain 12
  • Row 1: From second chain, 10 sc. In last ch: 3 sc.
  • Rotate and 10 sc on other side. Last stitch: 1 inc (2 sc)
  • Row 2: 5 dc, 5 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sc inc, 3 sc, 5 hdc, 5 dc
  • Row 3: 1 dc inc, 3 dc, 6 hdc, 2 sc, 2 sc inc, 2 sc
  • Make second piece in pink yarn, fasten off
  • Join blue and pink pieces with sc around both layers
  • End with sl st, ch 1, cut long tail
  • Use yarn needle to shape and secure bottom of ear
  • Repeat to make second ear

Nose

  • Chain 6
  • Row 1: From second chain, 1 sc, 3 dc, 1 sc
  • Chain 1, fasten off, hide tail

Strap/Loop

  • Chain 30
  • Join with sl st to first chain, ch 1, cut long tail
  • Sew to top of head, securing well

Assembly of Stitch

  • Sew or glue ears aligned with color change
  • Attach nose to face, centered
  • Secure strap to top of the head

Angel Ornament Adjustments

  • Follow Stitch’s body instructions using Angel’s colors
  • Replace ears with antennae

  • Follow same instructions as Stitch’s strap
