Materials
- 4 mm crochet hook
- Yarn of choice
- Tapestry needle for weaving
Front Panel
- Chain to shoulder width, example 75 chains.
- Skip 2 chains, work HDC in back loop across.
- Work 38 rows of HDC in back loop.

Back Panels
- Without cutting yarn, chain 2 and turn.
- Work 20 HDC in back loop.
- Continue for 30 rows.
- Cut yarn and attach to remaining stitches.
- Work second strap repeating 30 rows of 20 HDC.

Joining the Back
- Twist both straps.
- Chain to fill center, example 33 chains.
- Slip stitch to connect chain to opposite strap.
- Work HDC across width including straps and chain.
- Complete 8 rows to match front.
Seaming and Armholes
- Count 15 rows from top and mark.
- Slip stitch side seam from bottom to marker.
- Fasten off.

Sleeves
- Attach yarn at marker and chain 80.
- Skip 2 chains and HDC across.
- Slip stitch to sweater body.
- Next row chain 1, work one HDC then chain 1 skip next, repeat.
- Next row chain 2, HDC across.
- Continue repeating until sleeve length.

Waistband
- Attach yarn at seam and chain 11.

Cuff Edging
- Attach yarn, chain 2 and DC around.
- Work one decrease round using FPDC and BPDC.
